Returning Students – All students who have been attending and are returning to La Veta Schools your parent or guardian will complete online enrollment yearly. Parents will receive an email with your reminder and password. EZSchoolEnroll.com open for online enrollment on August 1, 2018. Follow this link to EZSchoolEnroll.com. Once enrolled call Registrar, Rick Sciacca at 742-6421 to make an appointment and complete your 6th through 12th grade student’s semester/year schedule.
School begins August 20, 2018. Students will attend Monday through Thursday unless noted on Master Calendar. Exceptions will be holidays and an occasional Friday school.

7:15 a.m. Cafeteria service begins.
7:30 a.m. Teachers’ contract day begins and school buildings unlocked; outdoor supervision begins.
7:40 a.m. Bell rings for all grade levels to report to class.

4:00 p.m. Student Dismissal
4:15 p.m. Teachers’ contract day ends; playground supervision ends.

HOW TO ENROLL
Documents required for registration – Print the forms, complete and return to the Central Office with other required documents. See list below.
Transferring to La Veta School District RE-2 – All students who have attended a public or private school who are transferring to La Veta School District RE-2 your parent or guardian must complete a Release of Records Request. Release of Records Request
New Student/s – All new students, parent or guardian will have to complete an enrollment package and submit Birth Certificate, Immunization Records/Statement of Exemption and proof of residency for your student. If applicable proof of custody or guardianship may be requested. Enrollment Forms 2018-06-12-152445.
Early Childhood Programs – Student must be four by June 1 of the current year for admittance to La Veta Preschool and five by June 1 of current year for admittance to Kindergarten. Parents will have to complete an enrollment package and submit Well Child Check (for Preschool only), Birth Certificate, Immunization Records and proof of residency. Preschool Tuition – is $100.00 per month. First and last month tuition ($200) will be due by August 30, 2018. Tuition can be paid in full ($900) or monthly. Monthly payments will be due by the following dates:
Proof of residency – Proof of residency documents must be dated within the last 60 days. Documents must include the mailing address, service address, and name of occupant at the address. A document showing proof of residency is required for any new student.

Non-Resident Student – Complete the Admission for Non-Resident Students Application Form if the student resides outside of La Veta School District RE-2.

Athletes 6th through 12th Grades – Parents of Athletes must submit your student’s sports physical, insurance and CHSSA participation application before student may participate.
Extracurricular Programs – Home school students grades 6 through 12 participating in extracurricular programs must have parent or guardian complete the La Veta Junior Senior High School Extra-Curricular Activities package and submit your students sports physical, Insurance, proof of residency, Immunization records or immunization waiver, and Birth Certificate. New students enrolled conditionally until all records are accepted (Policy JF). Parents/Guardians are obligated to ensure that all children of compulsory attendance age attend school (Policy JHB). Parents acknowledge their understanding that Colorado State Law, LVRE-2 policies, and the K-12 student handbook govern the school.
